DESCRIPTION:Fall Rising Risk Professional event with guest speaker Tessa Studebaker!\n\n\nAre you age 35 or younger and/or with 7 years or less experience in insurance and risk management?  If so\, join your fellow RRP’s in a one-hour educational event with Zurich Vice President of Underwriting and Performance\, Tessa Studebaker.  Learn about the underwriting world and Tessa’s career journey. \nA networking hour with snacks and beverages will follow this closed group discussion. \nThe Chapter is looking to build its Rising Risk Professionals (RRP) group in addition to finding volunteers to help plan some exciting RRP events.  Sign-up to join our RRP Member list. \nLooking forward to seeing you there! \nTessa Studebaker\, Head of Large Casualty Underwriting Strategy and Performance Management – Zurich North America \nTessa is the Head of Large Casualty Underwriting Strategy and Performance Management at Zurich North America. In this capacity\, she is responsible for the development and execution of strategies with customers and brokers to deliver profitability commitments\, as well as working internally to align key support partners to deliver the full value proposition to the market.  In addition\, Tessa is heavily involved in driving the people strategy\, which includes recruiting\, onboarding\, training\, and career development. \nTessa has been with Zurich since 2019\, most recently as Regional Underwriting Officer for Middle Market in the West. She has served on the leadership team for the Women’s Innovation Network (WIN\,) is a Zurich Academy faculty member\, and is a recent graduate of the Propel leadership development program.  Prior to Zurich\, Tessa was a Unit Manager at Lockton in Los Angeles and prior to that at CNA\, where she started as an underwriting trainee and subsequently held various underwriting leadership roles. Her pre-insurance career was in the aerospace industry\, including two years working as an expatriate in rural France. \nOn the personal side\, Tessa graduated from the University of Puget Sound with degrees in Business Leadership and Music\, and is based in Seattle.
