The City of Kent is currently accepting applications for Risk Manager in our Human Resources Department. The City’s Risk Manager is responsible for the oversight of a comprehensive risk management and loss control program. Responsibilities also include the development and administration of citywide safety programs; handling complex litigation; and the implementation of city-wide employee training programs. The ideal candidate will have over four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in the management of a comprehensive risk management program or insurance underwriting, general liability insurance, and workers’ compensation. A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience is also critical for success in this position.

 

This is a full-time, benefited, and overtime exempt position that is not represented by a union.
